Our lesson plans are designed to be fun and interactive. Water safety and survival skills are taught in the most effective way.
Every child is different and will learn at their own pace. Students will receive a certificate on completion of each level outlining the competencies they have achieved.

• Beginning to self rotate in the water
• Learning vertical rotation
• Gaining propulsion from kicks/paddles
• Can push and glide between parent and wall
• Confident and loving water play
• Waits for permission before entering the pool
• Learning breath control
• Can back float aided/unaided
• Is confident in and around water
• Can kick/paddle when asked/independently
• Can push and glide between instructor and wall
• Can slide/jump in aided/unaided
• Showing safe behaviour in and around the pool
• Is classed as a non-independent swimmer and needs parents aid in the water, constant supervision

• Is learning to turn their head to the side to breath aided/unaided with kickboard

• Confidently swims 4m using a straight arm stroke

• Can roll over from a back float
• Can slide/jump in to the pool and get back to safety
• Can recover from a full submersion
• Understands basic water safety
• Classed as a non-independent swimmer and needs parents in the water
• Learning to bi-lateral breath unaided
• Can confidently swim 10m with over arm stroke
• Can confidently swim 10m on their back
• Learning to use arm strokes on their back
• Can self propel to the bottom of the pool and recover
• Learning to tread water for ☐ seconds aided/unaided
• Developing survival skills and knows how to call for help
• Learning how to aid others who need rescuing or help
• Is classed as an independent swimmer in a pool environment but needs constant parent supervision
• Swimming confidently for 20m using freestyle and/or backstroke
• Learning different leg propulsion – breaststroke and butterfly kicks
• Learning different arm strokes – breaststroke pull
• Learning a safe dive in entry
